The breakfast was good, with a nice selection, better than I expected. The location of the hotel is great, with lots of restaurants and shops nearby. , the staff was friendly and helpful whenever I had any questions.
Cleanliness was an issue, with some visible dust and dirt in the corners. The air conditioning was not working properly, and the room was stuffy and uncomfortable.

Stayed here for New Year's Eve with my friends. the noise from the party downstairs was minimal and didn't disturb our sleep. the fireworks outside were a great touch and added to the festive atmosphere. the breakfast was filling and had a good variety of options. the staff are lovely and friendly.
The room was quite small and basic - not what we expected for the price paid. There was only one plug socket and it was placed in an inconvenient spot.

The location of the hotel is excellent, right in the centre of Grasmere village, near some nice pubs. the rooms are clean and well decorated, with comfortable beds and beautiful views of the garden or snowy hillside. the staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, always ready to help. the hotel also has a swimming pool and spa, perfect for relaxation after a long day of exploring the area.
The breakfast buffet could be improved, with a limited selection and minimal portions of butter and smoked salmon.
